1. Basting for the hand-quilter. 1/2 cent/sq. inch
Parallel lines are stitched across the quilt sandwich about 4-5 inches apart using 1-4 stitches per inch (your choice) and generally done with a random color poly thread. I can use water-soluble thread for an additional fee if desired.
2. Ironing, thread trimming, squaring up top or back, piecing back, minor quilt repairs and securing outer seams. Adding fabric to backing so it can be mounted on longarm.
$15/hour (min. $5) and cost of muslin
3. Make binding with fabric you supply 5 cents per linear inch
Stitch binding to top using longarm 5 cents per linear inch
Hand finish binding on back 20 cents per linear inch
